Puck is seeking a CRM Associate, Marketing to execute our CRM marketing and lifecycle campaigns aimed at driving sustainable subscriber growth. This person will manage and optimize Puck and Air Mail’s subscriber communications across email, lifecycle messaging, and retention campaigns, while maintaining each brand’s distinct voice and premium standards. This role sits at the intersection of editorial, growth, and data, helping ensure the right messages reach the right readers at the right time. You’ll join a small but mighty team redefining what modern media can be: smart, insider-driven, and unapologetically premium. You’ll have a direct impact on Puck’s growth trajectory—building the systems, strategies, and stories that bring new insiders into the fold.
 

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in CRM and lifecycle marketing, including campaign execution, audience segmentation, performance analysis, and experimentation.

This role is primarily based out of Puck’s New York City headquarters. Remote candidates will not be considered.
 

Primary Responsibilities:

CRM & Lifecycle Campaigns

  • Execute and manage CRM campaigns across email, website, and other owned channels
  • Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to develop lifecycle messaging including onboarding, engagement, retention, and win-back

Audience Segmentation & Targeting

  • Build and manage audience segments based on behavior, preferences, and subscription status
  • Maintain clean, accurate subscriber data
  • Help identify key audiences and targeting strategies to improve engagement and conversion

Testing & Optimization

  • Execute editorial A/B testing and develop test performance summaries
  • Contribute to experimentation around frequency, cadence, and personalization

Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance summaries on key CRM metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversion, and churn
     

To best perform this job, you will demonstrate:

  • The ability to effectively partner cross functionally
  • Familiarity with CRM or ESP platforms (e.g., Customer IO, Sailthru, Braze, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Familiarity with CDP platforms (e.g., Segment)
  • Interest in media, politics, culture, or journalism strongly preferred 
  • Experience working in subscription or membership businesses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 2-3 years of experience in CRM, email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or audience development
  • Excellent written communication skills with an eye for tone and clarity
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns at once

  • The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. Final title and compensation will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.
